Ann Combs Joins PSCA Board of Directors

Former DOL Assistant Secretary returns to the private sector

The Profit Sharing/401k Council of America is pleased to announce that Ann Combs, the former Assistant Secretary of the Department of Labor and the head of the Employee Benefits Security Administration, has been appointed by the Executive Committee to fill a vacancy on the PSCA Board of Directors effective immediately. 

Ms. Combs recently left public office to return to the private sector as Principle, Institutional Strategic Consulting at The Vanguard Group. Before accepting this new position, Ms. Combs was confirmed as Assistant Secretary of EBSA U.S. Department of Labor on May 9, 2001. During the Reagan and prior Bush Administrations, Ms. Combs spent six years as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Labor for EBSA. She also served on the Advisory Council on Social Security from 1994–1996. 

Prior to joining the Board of Directors, Ms. Combs has delivered the keynote speech at a number of PSCA National Conferences. Ms. Combs is a strong addition to an already excellent Board of Directors.
