PSCA Celebrates Its 60th Anniversary in 2007!
PSCA looks back on two years of Defined Contribution Insights
Dear PSCA Members,
2007 will be a significant year for the Profit Sharing/401k Council of America. We are celebrating 60 years of being the voice of plan sponsors! We are looking forward to a year of continued success and celebration. Additionally, we will continue to provide our members with important member benefits that bring value to our members and their millions of employees.
This issue marks the beginning of the third year of Defined Contribution Insights. Throughout the past two years, we have made several improvements to this publication. We strive to include content that is of significant relevance to our members. By focusing on topics interesting to plan sponsors, such as the Roth 401(k) and PSCA’s latest survey data, we keep our members up-to-date on the latest trends in the defined contribution industry as well as topics of particular interest that directly affect our members.
Additionally, with the expertise of PSCA’s graphic designer Bob Uhler, Defined Contribution Insights has taken on a more professional and clean look. Pictures, graphics, and illustrations all contribute to the overall content of the magazine by depicting the main themes of the articles. Other graphic elements, such as charts and graphs, help show important facts described in the articles. They also can serve as a quick reference to our readers.
As PSCA moves forward, we will strive to continue to bring you articles on the latest, most interesting, and relevant topics for our members. The President’s Page provides readers with thoughtful commentary from PSCA’s President, David Wray. The Survey section will provide our members accurate data on a variety of 401(k) and profit sharing plan topics. Our Washington Watch section provides readers with important legal and legislative updates. By discussing these various cases and situations in our magazine, we hope to educate our readers about issues their plan may have before they become problematic.
PSCA also uses this magazine to remind our members of the various member benefits we offer. Inside the back cover of each issue is a summary of some of PSCA’s main benefits. We have recently updated these descriptions to best convey their significance. Additionally in each issue, we highlight a certain member benefit to better explain how our members can take advantage of PSCA’s services.
On the back cover of our magazine is a list of important upcoming dates and events. Be sure to check it often for the latest information on upcoming conferences, PSCA-hosted events, and committee meetings.
In addition to maintaining and improving upon the quality and integrity of Defined Contribution Insights, look for other member benefits and opportunities to come. We value your feedback. If there is a particular topic or area of interest you would like to see covered in the magazine, please feel free to contact me at kara@psca.org.
Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Kara Schappa
