PSCA Offers New Benchmarking Service

Beginning in January 2007, PSCA will offer a new benchmarking service to its members. Member companies will have the opportunity to receive a report that benchmarks their profit sharing or 401(k) plan against the database of companies that complete the PSCA annual survey. This service will be free and is available only to plan sponsor member companies who complete the annual survey questionnaire.
Participating members will be able to compare plan design and investment practice data for their own company to that of companies of similar size, industry, and plan design. This information is useful for helping companies maximize their employees’ retirement benefits. 

The new service will be implemented in stages. Those who completed the 49th Annual Survey of Profit Sharing and 401(k) Plans questionnaire will receive the report this spring. Sponsors who complete subsequent Annual Survey questionnaires by each May 1 going forward will receive their reporting in the fall. 

Not only will this provide a valuable new service to PSCA members, it will enhance the value of the survey overall as it should increase the number of sponsors completing the survey questionnaire.
