PSCA's promotion of 401(k) Day is one of the most recognized events focusing on the importance of saving for retirement through employer-sponsored defined contribution plans. Each year, a special campaign is created by one of the best design departments in the financial industry, and a comprehensive program of participant education materials is offered free of charge to everyone. PSCA members will have access to some extra materials. Over the past years, hundreds of companies and thousands of plan participants have experienced special "days" focusing on the importance of saving for retirement and the benefits of saving in their employer's plans.
Once launched, the 401(k) Day campaign receives thousands of "hits" on the PSCA Web site and other Plan Sponsor or provider Web sites. Press releases and articles support the initiative, and the sponsoring partners receive extensive medica coverage and recognition at PSCA events throughout the year. The 2010 401(k) Day campaign will receive special attention with increased marketing support targeting specific national and vertical media.
