Chicago (July 26, 2001) – Join top companies nationwide. In 2001, we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of 401(k) legislation. Since their implementation, 401(k) plans have empowered millions of employees to save for retirement. Today, more than 42 million Americans save with 340,000 401(k) plans; an increase of 237 percent during the past 10 years. On September 4, 2001, join employers nationwide to celebrate 401(k) Day. To help companies prepare their celebrations, the Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America is offering a complete free 401(k) Day communication kit. PSCA’s 401(k) Day 2001 theme is "Dress for Retirement".
Celebrate your company's employee/employer partnership and "Dress for Retirement." By visualizing our retirement dreams, employees can see today the importance in preparing for tomorrow. PSCA hopes to see employees across the nation dress as they hope to dress during their retirement. Will they be dressed for woodworking, gardening, cruising the Caribbean or surfing the web?
