CHICAGO (September 16, 2003)  - The Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America (PSCA) is pleased to announce the winners of our eighth annual Signature Awards competition. The Signature Awards recognize excellence in plan communication and investment education in 401(k) plans.

"This year, PSCA received double the number of entries we received in 2002—205 total,"said Timothy Regnitz of Crowe Chizek and Company LLP, chair of the PSCA communications committee. Regnitz added, "We’ve learned that even during tough financial markets, a weak economy and general uncertainty, plan sponsors are still finding the energy and resources to provide outstanding education and communication to promote the benefits of their company-sponsored retirement plan."

PSCA places important emphasis on plan campaigns providing measured results. Measured results greatly reveal a program’s level of success. "PSCA wants to recognize programs that demonstrate their high level of success through the inclusion of measured results," said PSCA president, David L. Wray.

The 2003 Signature Award winning campaigns were on display at the Annual National Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona on Wednesday, September 10. Signature Award judges also presented a program explaining why each campaign was deemed a winner and worthy of PSCA recognition. Additionally, the Signature Awards publication highlighting winning programs was available at the National Conference.
