CHICAGO (September 25, 2002) - The Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America (PSCA) is pleased to announce the winners of our seventh annual Signature Awards competition. The Signature Awards recognize excellence in plan communication and investment education in 401(k) plans. "PSCA received a significant increase in entries this year," said Clare Berquist of Strong, a Signature Awards judge and communications committee member. "We were pleased with the level of interest in the awards." Berquist also noted that the quality of the entries was extremely high. "The creativity of the campaigns was excellent and the achieved results were phenomenal." As in previous years, PSCA has placed an increased emphasis on plan campaigns providing measured results. Measured results greatly reveal a program’s level of success. "PSCA wants to recognize programs that demonstrate their high level of success through the inclusion of measured results," said PSCA president, David L. Wray. The 2002 Signature Award winning campaigns were on display at the Annual National Conference in Chicago, IL on Thursday, September 19. Signature Award judges also presented a program explaining why each campaign was deemed a winner and worthy of PSCA recognition. Additionally, the Signature Awards publication highlighting winning programs was available at the National Conference. The following are the 2002 Signature Award winners: Best of Show:
