PSCA ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT READINESS PROGRAM FOR 401(k) DAY

WHAT:
The Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America (PSCA) announces a new 401(k) Day website www.401kday.org that provides everything you will need to make celebrating 401(k) Day fun and easy. It includes a complete set of communications materials to help companies throughout the country take part in 401(k) Day on September 7, 2004. The day was established to educate employees about the importance of participating in their 401(k) plans and of long-term savings for retirement. This year’s focus is "retirement readiness" and PSCA has developed a special comprehensive, complimentary communications program to help companies promote savings for retirement in the workplace. David Wray, president of PSCA, is available for interviews to discuss 401(k) Day’s purpose and the tools that are available for plan sponsors and plan participants.

Materials available at no charge include free interactive and print 401(k) participant education tools, such as posters, payroll stuffers, interactive and print crossword and word-find puzzles, and an interactive matching game that educates employees about 401(k) terms and investing. Planning tools for tailoring company 401(k) Day programs to individual companies and sample program content are also available.
