About PSCA's Fiduciary Training Program

The PSCA ERISA Fiduciary Training Program has been updated due to legislative, Internal Revenue Service, and Department of Labor changes since the program was first made available in 2009. However, it does not yet contain information related to the Department of Labor's fiduciary rule. Now that the rule has been vacated, no major updates will be made. Minor updates may be made in the future as needed.

The program is available to PSCA members and non-members as an online self-study course.

PSCA's Fiduciary Training Program has been highly received and has helped plan sponsors become better prepared to face their fiduciary duties, including when dealing with heightened scrutiny from the Department of Labor. One of the first things the Department of Labor asks when auditing a company is if its fiduciaries have received training. ERISA attorneys and retirement plan advisors strongly recommend that retirement plan fiduciaries have ongoing fiduciary training. PSCA recognizes the need for reasonably priced, yet comprehensive, fiduciary education and is pleased to make it available to the retirement plan community.
