Covid-19 Impact on 401(k) Plans
PSCA conducted a snapshot survey in November to see what changes plans have made since June in response to COVID-19 and what provisions of the CARES Act they have implemented. 

Impact of COVID-19 and Economic Conditions on 403(b) Plans
PSCA, with sponsorship from Principal, conducted a brief survey of 403(b) plan sponors in October 2020 to determine how they are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and economic conditions.

In October 2011, PSCA conducted a snapshot survey of 401(k) and profit sharing plan sponsors to determine how they are responding to multiple changes in today’s economic and regulatory environment. PSCA received responses from 523 plan sponsors from across the country.

403(b) Plan Response to Current Conditions
In October 2011, PSCA conducted a snapshot survey of 403(b) plan sponsors to determine how theyare responding to multiple changes in today’s economic and regulatory environment. We received579 responses from 403(b) plan sponsors of varying sizes and geographical locations.

Retirement Income Guarantee Products Snapshot Survey
PSCA conducted a snapshot survey of plan sponsors in March 2010 to determine their views on retirement income products. We received 543 responses from plan sponsors of varying sizes and industries.

401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan Response to Current Conditions Snapshot Survey
In October 2010, PSCA conducted a survey of 401(k) and profit sharing plan sponsors to determine how they are responding to current economic and regulatory changes. PSCA received 531 responses from plan sponsors across the country. The majority of plan sponsors and participants continued making contributions to their defined contribution plan.

With the economic downturn of 2008 and 2009, there has been a focus on changes employers have made to their defined contribution plans. In October 2009, PSCA conducted a survey of 403(b) plan sponsors to determine exactly what impact the economic conditions had on 403(b) plans, what actions plan sponsors have taken to cope with economic conditions, and plans for 2010.
