PSCA Continuing Education

As a professional society, the Plan Sponsor Council of America (PSCA) recognizes the importance of the continuing educational development of its members. PSCA has a mandatory program of Continuing Education (CE) that affects all PSCA credentialed members (CPSP®).

CE requirements apply to all credentialed members, regardless of when the credential was awarded. Below is a brief FAQ with commonly asked questions. We strongly encourage all candidates and credentialed members to read PSCA's CE Policy.

Who Needs CE?
If you hold the CPSP® you are required to earn CE hours.

How many CE hours do I need?
To maintain your credential, you must earn twenty-four (24) CE hours every two (2) years. The CE requirement is waived for the calendar year the credential is earned, and may be reduced for the following year(s) depending on the current cycle. See below for an example and sample chart.

If you earned your designation in 2023 your requirement to earn CE in 2023 was zero (0). You will however need to earn/report 24 CE credits by December 31, 2025, to maintain your designation.
