PSCA is committed to providing its members with accurate and unbiased research about the defined contribution industry. PSCA’s surveys are used by companies to provide benchmarks for their plans and by the government as a resource for public policy decisions.

403(b) Plan Response to Current Conditions
In October 2011, PSCA conducted a snapshot survey of 403(b) plan sponsors to determine how they are responding to multiple changes in today’s economic and regulatory environment. We received 579 responses from 403(b) plan sponsors of varying sizes and geographical locations. 

401(k) Plan Response to Current Conditions
In October 2011, PSCA conducted a snapshot survey of 401(k) and profit sharing plan sponsors to determine how they are responding to multiple changes in today’s economic and regulatory environment. PSCA received responses from 523 plan sponsors from across the country.

PSCA's 54th Annual Survey of Profit Sharing and 401(k) Plans reports on the 2010 plan-year experience of 820 companies with 10.5 million participants and $691 billion in plan assets.

2011 403(b) Plan Survey
PSCA conducted a survey of 403(b) plan sponsors in March, 2011, with sponsorship from the Principal Financial Group, to help fill the gap in available benchmarking data for 403(b) plan sponsors. PSCA's 2011 403(b) Plan Survey reports on the 2010 plan-year experience of 712 not-for-profit organizations.

2011 Non-Qualified Plan Survey
PSCA partnered with Boston Research Group to conduct a survey on non-qualified plans. This is the first survey of its kind and provides information on types of non-qualified plans, plan design features, as well as eligibility and participation rates.
