CPSP® for Plan Sponsors

The Certified Plan Sponsor Professional (CPSP®) is the first credential exclusively for plan sponsors. Obtaining the CPSP® designation demonstrates you have the requisite skills to effectively evaluate, design, implement and manage a comprehensive employer-sponsored retirement plan.

Thanks to our education partners’ generous support, the CPSP™ credentialing program is free.

Our online self-study preparatory course allows you to review the modules in any order you choose and at your own pace. While the course is not required before taking the CPSP® credential exam, it is highly recommended. To get enrolled in the self-study program, complete the online registration form.

If you’d like a guided training experience, PSCA’s 9-week Virtual Classroom — blending online self-study with live instruction — might be what you are looking for. Each week you'll get materials to review on your own; then, you’ll participate in an online session led by a subject matter expert. Week 9 is an overview, after which the exam will be made available. Interested? Sign up today!

The CPSP® education program is a great way to sharpen your retirement plan knowledge while earning continuing education (CE) credits! The program is approved for ASPPA, SHRM® Professional Development Credits (PDC), and HRCI® continuing education credits.
